A’SHUA IMRAN (Producer/ Curator)
A’shua Imran (b. 1986) is a Singaporean artist working primarily in the medium of painting and performance. He graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts (Singapore) with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art (Goldsmiths, UK) in 2014, and has since presented his works in Singapore, The Netherlands, Egypt, U.K. South Africa and Spain. Imran is the founder and artistic director of Mural Lingo, a Singapore-registered social enterprise engaged in the arts, education and publishing. He founded the independent platform in 2014 with the primary focus on offering an incubation space where undergraduates and recent graduates can develop their skills and sustain their art practice. Over the past years, Imran has collaborated with and completed commissions for organisations and institutions such as Google, National University Singapore, Red Cross - Singapore, World Wildlife Fund - Singapore and more. He is actively involved in local and international projects as an independent artist and art director.
JAXTON SU (Producer/ Curator)
Jaxton Su (b. 1988, Singapore) is an independent visual artist and curator. He is also an adjunct
lecturer at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He graduated with a Master of Fine Art from The Glasgow School of Art, UK and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NTU, Singapore. Aside from his art practice, he is also actively involved in curatorial, community, educational and mural painting projects. Some of his notable endeavours include curatorial projects ‘The Unsettled Dust - Asian Short Film Festival’ and ‘Dare you do this? FFFF it! - Taiwan Gangshan Dist Contemporary Art Warehouse International Exchange Program’, community-based projects ‘Silver Arts 2019 - Home is where the heart is’, ‘A Ride through Race Course Road’ and ‘Edinburgh International Science Festival 2018 - Our Nano World’. Through his various ventures that he has presented internationally, he strives to create engaging and immersive experiences that would encourage enthusiasm in the arts for the masses.
JIREH KOH (Programmes and Communications Manager)
Jireh Koh (b. 1991) is a multidisciplinary artist who aspires to bridge the sonic, visual and the physical in his practice. Starting out as a painter and a self-trained classical countertenor, he has since expanded into many mediums such as sculpture, installation, sound and performance art. He graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art (Honours) in 2017, and has presented work in London, Indonesia and Singapore. He is also active in the local music scene, performing in places like the Esplanade, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Kult Cafe and more. He is currently the Communications and Programmes Manager of the Independent Archive Ltd., a grounds-up initiative focused on documenting ephemeral practices, founded by the late artist and Cultural Medallion recipient Lee Wen. He is also a secretary of the International Arts and Culture Federation (Singapore) and the Publicity and Communications Manager of Rhizome, a collective under World in Theatre examining the intersections and possibilities in performing and performance art. Through his efforts with the community, he hopes to bridge practitioners of different generations, disciplines and art forms to foster an environment of inclusivity, collaboration and experimentation.
